MARSA ALAM & NEW TUSHY CONCEPT SAIL

We're now in the Egyptian resort of Marsa Alam. With a couple of windy days under our belt, we've been busy blasting, gybing, duck gybing and skills training. We pretty much have the place to ourselves, which is great as the team here run a fabulous centre. If you fancy joining us in April we have a couple of places left.Plus we are here in Sept, but that is virtually fully booked too, so be quick as that will fill up shortly!

Whilst out here we've had the chance to try the new, Tushingham Concept sail with is a very affordable 4 batten Freeride sail. We feel the Concept has proved worthy of its all-round rating in the Tushingham range. Whilst 4 batten rigs sacrifice some top end power, they offer a much lighter feel in more marginal conditions and deliver very quick early planing with smaller sizes of sail. The added bonus of lighter handling also makes it easier to release from the water and maneouvre when uphauling, waterstarting, tacking and gybing. I see the Concept being a great value sail (£285) which is perfect for the early stages of the sport. It will get you up and going and you won't grow out of it!"
